Selecting the correct work surface is an important decision when incorporating a new storage system.
A wide range of materials are available and we are happy to advise the benefits and disadvantages of each option.
We offer a 63mm clinical upstand as standard, although we are happy to supply the tops without this if desired.
In addition to the tops below we also offer Trespa tops.

Solid surface
The Medspace solid surface worktops are designed to comply with the NHS HTM 63 Health Technical Memorandum and HBN 00-09. Solid surface wortops are useful where visible joints should be hidden and infection control is paramount.
Solid surface is also used for creating unique and creative shapes for Reception Desks and Nurse Bases.
The Medspace Solid Surface Worktops are typically 30 or 37mm thick and are constructed from an MDF core with a 12mm solid surface. Featuring a square profile to the long edge with an 8mm pencil round edge. Comes with 12mm 50mm integral solid surface upstand.
Chamfers, cable ports or other shapes can be cut as optional extras. We can also supply moulded, seemless sinks.





LAMINATES



Cantilever Legs
Powder coated steel cantilever support leg. Constructed from 50 x 25mm box section mild steel. Typically used to support worktops. Suitable for laminate, SGL and solid surface worktops.
Fixed with 4 or 3 through-hole support tabs on the top beam of the leg to the underside of the worktop. Secured to wall or support batten using pre-drilled 75 x 50mm backplate.
Features a 20mm height adjustable foot for fine tuning the height
Also can be fitted with an OPTIONAL adjustable bolt for rear fixing to the wall, for extra reassurance (POA).
We can also supply custom bench, table, and worktop frames.
